Trygve Inda, founder and developer, has been writing Mac software since 1989. He wrote Time Palette on a Mac IIcx in 1992. EarthDesk was born in 2002 and took the world by storm, allowing Trygve and his wife, Karen, to quit their day jobs. Xeric Design incorporated in 2004.
Trygve has degrees in International Affairs and Geography and is passionate about maps, travel, and airplanes. In 2012, he became involved in aviation, holds commercial and instrument ratings and is an FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII). He is also the proud owner of a Piper Dakota named Jellybean.
Karen processes sales and answers your support emails. She has a degree in Geography, a sharp eye for detail, and an equally strong passion for travel. She is a student pilot and is working on being able to land Jellybean.
Together, they have traveled to nearly 100 countries and take their software business with them on a MacBook Air wherever they go. Their
dedication to Xeric Design is matched only by their insatiable thirst for adventure.
